Bourbon Barrel Cafe Table
We created these one of a kind cafe tables & planters for our friends over at Authentique in downtown Kenosha! Made from reclaimed bourbon barrels, these pieces were created by cutting apart the barrels after carefully installing industrial rivets to hold the metal hoops in place. We stenciled the Authentique logo on top then used Aboglass Epoxy (made locally in Kenosha) to seal the tops of the barrels and raise the height of the center of the barrels to be a great surface for working on your laptop and having a coffee...or a mimosa! We sealed the sides of the barrels with an exterior spar urethane before installing reclaimed table bases. We painted the bases to match the Ice Cream Shop Chairs Authentique owner Kimberly had picked out! We repeated a similar process for the planters in the adjcent picture and put them up on casters for easy use.
