CABRERA BAR TOP

A local member of the Navy came to us with a unique project. He had a broken piece of glass from his bar top and wanted to have a custom piece of glass created to replace it. He brought it to many glass shops, and no one would touch it because of the unique connection points to the base.

We used barn wood siding from the 60th St barn tear down and cut slats to mirror the original shape of the glass and built the custom attachments. This barnwood features rough-sawn marks made from the sawblades at the mill when it was originally cut. The bar is back!

We support our Vets and active military and thank each one of you for your service!

Linn's Singer Sewing Machine Table

This couple purchased their first kitchen table for $300 as newlyweds 33 years beforehand. They always wanted to replace that table, but hadn’t found the right partner.

We got to work starting with an idea to build the base out of a Singer sewing machine. The wrought iron inspired us to create a curved piece to go under the table to tie everything together. We ran into issues when we couldn’t find barn board with the right curve to act as a stabilizer.  Nick came up with the idea to use bourbon barrel staves from Heaven Hill Distillery. If you look carefully, you’ll see the original bunghole and bung from the bourbon barrel (yes, that’s what it’s called!). The topside of the table is made from interior facing barnwood from the 60th St barn tear down.  When you look at the bottom side you can see wear and color patterns from the externally facing side of those boards. This table was beyond the client’s expectations and, fun fact, it turns out the husband is a huge bourbon fan!

Cushman Mantle Project

This custom client project features a reclaimed rough-sawn 8x8 barn beam with handmade corbels for accent.

This project was unique because of an existing part of the original mantle that couldn’t be removed. We had to hollow out the new beam using a router so we could place it directly over the remainder of the old one. Fits like a glove! This beam came from a barn tear down in Reeseville, WI.

There’s no project too big or too small! Contact us today and lets bring your ideas to life!
