A Heartfelt Thank You, and Huge Announcement!

This year we celebrate our 6th year in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and I'd like to take a moment to acknowledge just how much our clients, this community, this family that we have built here means to all of us at ATGCC! I say without hesitation that I wish you all a happy and fulfilling new year. A new year to build the memories that will last a lifetime amongst friends, family, and loved ones. A New year that brings prosperity, growth, and positive change to you and yours!

To that end, on more of a personal note, we are celebrating some very exciting, albeit bittersweet news. I have decided to retire from ATGCC and move on to other adventures in life. This decision was not an easy one. Having been welcomed into your homes and businesses, to bring your ideas to life has become one of my life’s most fulfilling experiences.

What does this mean for the future of ATGCC? Well, we don't quite know yet. My sincere hope is that someone will step up, take the reins, and purchase ATGCC so that it can continue to operate and grow in this great community! So, woodworkers, let's talk. Are you looking for a fun, challenging, and rewarding career in the reclaimed barn wood business? Then this is your opportunity at a truly profitable, turn-key operation, as the option to purchase the business is available, but so is the option to buy the building that ATGCC calls home. While I am hopeful that we will find someone to pass on the sarcasm and sawdust torch, there is always the possibility that we will not, in which case by year-end of 2022, we will be closing ATGCC's doors.

What does this mean for all your custom projects? Well, keep asking for quotes as we will be accepting new projects until the end of March. If we have not found a buyer for the business by the end of March, we will no longer be taking on new custom projects, and shift our efforts to finishing all custom work and selling our unique raw materials. We are pulling stock from storage regularly. So, for all your raw material needs, or if you've had your eye on a finished piece, get them now before they are gone!

I want to thank the community of Kenosha, Wisconsin, and the clients we've had the opportunity to work with over the years. Your trust in our craftsmanship and your support of our artistic vision has meant the world to us. You are far more than customers, clients, or neighbors; you will always be friends! Thank you for making this a great place to create, and I hope that continues for many years to come for the next leader/Cruise Director at ATGCC!

Thanks

Scott
