Custom Reclaimed Barnbeam Kitchen Table from ATGCC

When it comes to custom home interiors, function is just as important as form, and with a little creativity, you can have them both! A perfect example of this was demonstrated when the crew at Against the Grain Creative Concepts crafted a beautiful kitchen table for clients that wanted something unique following a home remodel. The clients liked the idea of a wood top with a metal base, but they wanted to maximize the number of chairs that would fit.

We got to work using reclaimed barn beams from the Franksville barn which we milled down to 3” and designed the legs to come out on an angle as opposed to straight allowing for two chairs on each side and one on each end! We finished it with some Fiddes wax and a polyacrylic coating for durability!
